Case Study

From rough idea to useful product

01 / Problem

Homeschool families often have to stitch together curriculum, daily planning, teaching guidance, attendance, work samples, and compliance records across disconnected tools.

02 / Build

Ceboruco built a family-owned homeschool OS that turns an open curriculum graph into daily plans, guided lessons, mastery evidence, portfolios, and state-aware records.

03 / Result

Gakuva gives families one calm daily loop—teach, notice, save—while naturally producing the proof and records they need over time.

About this project

Gakuva is an open school OS for families. It turns a large open curriculum into one clear school day, helping parents decide what to teach now without forcing them to become curriculum experts or manage a complicated school dashboard.

The product combines child profiles, short daily Math and Reading plans, parent-friendly guided lessons, attendance and day logs, work samples, weekly proof reports, and exportable portfolio records. Its curriculum graph is built on Marble's open taxonomy of 1,590 micro-topics and 3,221 prerequisite links, so families can see what came before a concept and what learning opens next.

Built with Nuxt 4, Nuxt UI, Supabase, Three.js, and an openly licensed curriculum dependency, Gakuva is designed around a simple loop: teach, notice, save. The result is a calmer homeschool workflow where useful records emerge from the learning families already do.
